For those interested, the production servers are three Dell Poweredge 740xd servers running a Proxmox cluster.

The first server is for development, staging and running services not visible externally. This has fewer threads but more RAM so I can also use it as a backup if one of the production servers goes down.

The other two servers run the external DNS, the places and mesh services.

I believe I should be able to service a community of at least 100,000 sites with this setup.
